BROCKTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – A large new art exhibit is now on display at the entrance of PROVA! Beer Garden and Music Venue in Brockton.

Artist Tyler Knowlton wanted to highlight the diversity and beauty within Brockton, so he created a colorful and interactive 15-foot-tall art display.

“These long, five-foot polymer strings they’re all made of plastic tablecloths or drop cloths or shower curtains or strips of fabric and just sort of dance in the wind.”

Knowlton also found a way to honor all of the local victims of the coronavirus through the display

“They look like little hearts,” he said. “There are 434 of them woven into the piece and each one represents a person in Brockton who lost their life in relation to or because of the Covid-19.”
