BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Based on community feedback, changes have been made to a controversial plan to renovate Franklin Park's White Stadium and make it into the new home for a professional women's soccer team.

Boston's Deputy Design Chief Diana Fernandez of the Planning and Development Agency presented the stadium's new vision at a public meeting this week.

Among the changes... more open green space, and less pavement.

While some residents said they liked the changes, there were still concerns. "Neighbors like me who are very close are worried about parking on our streets," said Richard who has lived in the area for years. "They claim they have a plan for this, (laughs) but we'll see."

A lawsuit over the plan is still pending, although a judge denied an effort to block the renovation.
