CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP/WBZ NewsRadio) — The Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office says one of three workers injured at an MIT building construction site has died.
The Cambridge Fire Department tweeted Thursday that temporary support beams fell on the workers at around 3 p.m.
A news release from the office of Marian Ryan says the beams fell on the workers from a floor above them at one of the institute’s Cambridge, Massachusetts, buildings.
All three were taken to a hospital, where a 41-year-old man from Taunton died.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, which the attorney’s office says does not appear to be suspicious
