Coronavirus Forces A Third Restaurant In Quincy To Temporarily Close

QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Malachy's Saloon, on Granite Street, has become the third restaurant in Quincy to temporarily close amid the pandemic. This comes after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Hofbrau and Manet Lunch, both on Sea Street, have also closed this week because of exposure to the coronavirus.

The Quincy Health Department is asking anyone who stopped by Malachy's last Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday to contact the department immediately at 617-376-1286.

This includes July 21 between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m., July 22 before 3 p.m., and July 23 before 11:30 a.m.

Malachy's will remain closed until Aug. 6.
