Couple Gets Married Outside In Providence, In Middle Of Nor'easter

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Despite the blizzard raging outside on Saturday, one couple in Providence, Rhode Island was determined to tie the knot.

Adam and Sally Irujo held their wedding ceremony on Saturday outside the Providence Public Library during the blizzard.

Sally said that January 29 was circled on their calendars for the past year, and that they were not going to cancel just because of a storm. WBZ-TV spoke with couple about their decision to hold onto their wedding date.

"We thought it was going to be really hard and it all came together. The Providence Public Library worked with us so well. All of our vendors were available, and I think it was just meant to be," Sally said.

Family and friends of the couple stood outside with the snow falling around them as Sally and Adam said their vows.
