BELLINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Bellingham police are investigating a domestic dispute on Friday night that left a man and a woman with stab wounds.
As Milford Daily News reports, the girlfriend and boyfriend were both left with stab wounds after the incident, which happened at around 10:30 p.m at a home on Lafayette Road.
Both were transported to Rhode Island Hospital, and are expected to survive.
Neighbors of the couple told Milford Daily News that the woman burst into their home covered in blood, with her hands covering her neck, and dropped to the floor saying "he attacked me."
The Bellingham police department is continuing to investigate the incident.
