TOWNSEND, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Fire crews are battling a heavy fire at a home in Townsend Sunday.
The blaze at 205 Main St. began as a 2-alarm fire around 10 a.m. and grew to a 5-alarm fire at noon, Townsend Fire Department said.
Firefighters from multiple communities are on scene to help battle the fire. A portion of Main Street is closed to traffic.
