BRAINTREE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The big day for Dad is just around the corner, and lots of people are planning for that perfect gift.
In talking to shoppers at the South Shore Plaza, 'old-school' gifts like ties, socks, and 'Best Dad' mugs and tee shirts were being considered.
But there were also some of the more creative gift ideas like barbeque smokers, boxing lessons, and camping gear.
Tracy from Braintree was taking the more practical route with her father pushing 90. "We usually get him a gift card from Shaw's to help offset his monthly expenses," she said.
Meanwhile, Lauren was asked what made her Dad so special. "He's a really good guy, he puts all of us first, and he works really hard," she said.
