BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The organizers behind Boston Pride announced the date of this year’s parade and festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
Boston Pride For The People, the volunteer-led group who are organizing this year's Boston Pride, said that the event will include a parade, festival, and other activities to “celebrate the rich diversity, culture, and intersectionality of the LGBTQ+ community.”
Last year was the first year of Boston Pride since 2019. It was the first year that the event was organized by Boston Pride For The People, whose volunteer board was established in 2022.
The 2023 Pride Parade was attended by thousands of people who marched from Copley Square all the way to Boston Common. The parade was followed by a festival in the Common with musical performances, local vendors, and food.
