BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Former Red Sox slugger David Ortiz has made his first statement to public since coming home from the hospital.
“Being at home and look at my family celebrating that I’m here safe is priceless” Ortiz wrote in an Instagram post on Monday.
Ortiz was released from the hospital over the weekend, where he is continuing to recover after being shot in his native Dominican Republic.
