BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Kids at the Frog Pond got to skate with some professionals on Thursday morning.
“Disney On Ice” cast members warmed up in the Boston Common ahead of their first show at Agganis Arena on Thursday night.
“It’s very exciting. I really enjoy it when I get the chance to skate outdoors because we usually are in an arena,” said one of the cast members.
Kids from Charlestown High and the Winter Hill School in Somerville got to join them. For some of the kids in attendance, it was their first time ever skating, but the professionals were ready to lend a helping hand.
“It’s really nice to have a good time with all the people around us. I like to be a part of the "Beauty and the Beast" cover. I’m a cake over there so I’m just having a really good time,” said Eduardo, another one of the cast members.
"Disney On Ice" will be in Boston from Thursday, Dec. 21 through Monday, Jan. 1.
