BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Dodgers fan website is trolling Red Sox fans with a giant billboard built outside Fenway Park.
The giant billboard, on the corner of Lansdowne Street, features a larger-than-life image of former Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts. Betts was traded to the L.A. Dodgers for the 2020 season, who went on to win the World Series.
It reads "Dear Boston, THANK YOU FOR MOOKIE BETTS. Sincerely, Dodgers Fans & @Pantone294."
Pantone 294 is a Dodgers fan website run by L.A. native Alex Soto.
One Sox fan outside of Fenway laughed when the billboard was pointed out to him, but said it probably wouldn't remain unscathed for long. "I wonder how long it's going to take for someone to tag it up," he said, chuckling.
