CHELMSFORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — When Hayley and Matthew George from Somerville wanted to get married, they were disappointed to find they couldn’t bring their two dogs to the venue in New Hampshire.
“Like I sent them an email just asking, because I had this idea to do a ‘biscuit bar,’ and it’s really corny, because it was going to have a sign that said, ‘for our friends that couldn’t make the paw-ty,’” said Hayley.
The Chelmsford PetSmart, where the couple frequently visited, decided to step in and make the day even more memorable.

The couple’s pets, Ronnie and Jeter, were decked out in fancy wedding attire by the doggie daycare staff. A photo album filled with wedding-style pictures of the two pups in tuxedos.
“They did a whole photoshoot, with a photo album that they provided us, and in the photo album, it was basically supposed to be like their guest book,” said Hayley. “We’re just so grateful and shocked that this is what it actually turned into.”
The photos are even more valuable than before, as not long after the wedding, Jeter passed away.
“To have such memorable stuff given to her, especially after his passing, it just makes it even that much more special,” said Matthew.
