QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was supposed to go on trial for domestic violence charges on Wednesday, but his trial was delayed after Quincy District Court was closed due to a water main break.

Peppers was arrested in Braintree in October, and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation and possession of what police believed was cocaine.

He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The 29-year-old NFL player is accused of pushing his girlfriend’s head into a wall and choking her several times.

Peppers was placed on the Commissioner Exempt List following the arrest, and missed seven games.

His trial has been rescheduled to Thursday, according to CBS News Boston.
