Dorchester Fire Displaces 9, Including 4 Children

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Fire Department says a fire early Sunday morning has displaced nine people — including five adults and four children.

The fire began around 3 a.m. at a two-and-a-half story building on Warner Street in Dorchester.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the Boston Fire Department. All the residents were safely evacuated.

There is significant damage to the building. Authorities are investigating the cause the of the fire.
