BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — One person was killed and another wounded after a shooting in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood Monday afternoon, authorities said.
Boston police said officers were called to the area of Washington Street and Erie Street at around 12:55 p.m. for a report of two people shot.

Two men with gunshot wounds were taken to the hospital. One of the men died of his injuries, while the other is expected to survive, according to police.
Police do not believe the shooting was a random act.
No arrests have been made. An investigation is underway. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Boston Police Department.
