Dorchester Shooting Turns Fatal

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston police are investigating a shooting near Codman Square in Dorchester that turned fatal on Saturday night.

According to Boston Police Department spokeswoman Kim Tavares, BPD officers responded to a call at around 4 p.m. Saturday for shots fired on Wheatland Avenue.

A male victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

His identity has not yet been released, and so far no arrests have been made.
