BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police have released a statement identifying the victim of the third fatal shooting in Boston this week.
42-year-old Marcos Blanco of Dorchester was fatally shot Thursday night on Woodrow Avenue.
Blanco's death marks the 8th homicide in Boston since the start of the year.

The Boston Police Department says it is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident, and asks anyone with information to call Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
