Quincy, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — It's not just spring in the air at Quincy's Dairy Queen near the Fore River Bridge, it's also excitement.
Due to overwhelming DQ-fan requests, the once-canceled Cherry Dipped Cone is back.
"Everyone loves ice cream. This is so exciting!" gushed one DQ customer on the dip's return.
The company removed the dip last year.
But after a wave of dissent from DQ dip fans hit social media, the company decided to return the item back to the DQ menu.
Charlie said his favorite is vanilla soft-serve on a cherry-dipped cone, and he can't wait to order one. "Nothing can beat those cherry-dips," he said. "They are phenomenal."
The company said customers should check with their local DQs for when Cherry Dipped Cones will be available.
