Staff test out different cocktails in their commercial kitchen with fresh juices. Owner Nicole Pimentel says all drinks from Sol y Sal are handmade with all natural ingredients.
"If it's a mango purée, we're puréeing the mango ourselves. Sour mixes— we do not buy store-bought sour mixes. We put these cocktails on display, different risers, different pedestals, different glass shape and sizes, different color cocktails. We make it a focal point of the room, it's your modern day dessert table, it's an adult version of a candy table," Pimentel said.
Pimentel says she began mixology and catering events for her own family and friends as a hobby, and then it grew from there into a business. When the tables are done, the drinks are glowing under lights and bubbling with dry ice effects.
