BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The person killed in a car crash in Middleboro, Mass. Friday has been identified. Jennifer Ryan, of New Bedford, died after her vehicle crashed on Route 495.
Ryan, 32, lost control of her car while driving and hit a tree on the median, according to Massachusetts State Police. The vehicle, a Ford Explorer, was engulfed in flames following the crash.
Ryan was the only person in the car during the accident. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
