BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — An unlikely collaboration between actor and Dunkin’ brand ambassador Ben Affleck and rapper Isis Naija Gaston, better known as “Ice Spice,” spiced up Dunkin’ drink menus.

While Ice Spice took home the best new artist award at the MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday night, Dunkin’ released a commercial for their new “Ice Spice Munchkins Drink," a blend of frozen coffee and pumpkin munchkins.

Affleck produced the commercial though Artists Equity, a company he founded with fellow New Englander Matt Damon that recently released the movie “Air."

In the commercial, Affleck and Ice Spice come up with a new name for the drink. Affleck comically fails to see how the rapper who calls her fans “munchkins” relates to the brand and suggests changing her name to “Vanilla Ice Spice” as he attempts to rap with a thick Boston accent.

The new drink will be available from Sept. 13 until Oct. 31, so head to your local Dunkin’ to see if this drink is “good enough."

WBZ’s Jay Willett (@JayWillettWBZ) reports.
