LAWRENCE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A crash in Lawrence early Thursday morning has left one person dead and four others seriously injured.
Lawrence Police said the two-car crash happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Winthrop Avenue and South Union Street.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene; four others were taken to Lawrence General Hospital with serious injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation.
