"We partner with businesses, residential buildings, community members across the service area. We encourage people to bring a new unwrapped toy for a child in need," East Boston State Representative Adrian Madaro. According to the Eastie's Elves website, the charity runs from December 1 to the 14th, and accepts gifts ranging from toddlers to teenagers.
In 2020, the drive collected around 2,000 toys, which went directly to families in need.
