BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The place of a former iconic Boston cocktail bar has been reinvigorated by a production company.
Element Productions is a video production company that has worked with clients from the Boston Celtics to Dunkin’ Donuts and many more. Their office is now in the same location as Flash’s Cocktails, which shutdown in 2013.
“We thought it was a great opportunity for us to take the spirit of the company and transform an iconic bar for our new offices,” said Element Productions COO Kristen Kearns.
The company had worked in the same building for years but wanted to find a different space when the pandemic forced remote work. Their landlord suggested they move down to the first floor where the bar is.
“We’ve always been on upper levels, so being sort of a store front was a new thing, but we were noticing that that’s becoming more common, so we definitely embraced the idea and thought it would be a unique differentiator for us,” said Kearns.
Now that they have a bar at the office, Element Productions CEO Eran Lobel said they hope to use it for small community and advertisement industry events.
“One of our production coordinators is a mixologist just serendipitously. He has mixed some drinks for us. He’s going to start Thirsty Thursdays and bring those back,” said Lobel.
