BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Singer Elton John is set to play his final Boston concert tonight at TD Garden. WBZ NewsRadio's Jeff Brown spoke with WZLX's Carter Allen about the singer's career and legacy.

"Elton John, pretty much every time he plays is a sell-out," Allen said. "I saw him quite a bit in the 80s, and that was the remarkable thing about Elton, he was able to span decades with his music, and I was amazed at how entertaining he was."

Allen has a theory about why Elton John's music has stuck around.

"There's too much manufactured music around now, too much auto-tuned voices," he said. "People are gravitating toward music which is natural."
