EVERETT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Encore Boston Harbor President Bob DeSalvio is being replaced by Las Vegas Operations Chief Brian Gullbrants.
The change in executive leadership was announced Wednesday by Wynn Resorts.
DeSalvio led the Everett casino through it's construction and the first nearly five months of operation.
Casino giant Wynn resorts, which owns Encore, said DeSalvio is stepping down after five years on the job and after, "one of the most successful casino resort openings on the East Coast."
“Bob leaves Encore with a hand-selected team prepared to take on the challenges ahead," said Matt Maddox, CEO of Wynn Resorts in a statement. " I salute him for his commitment to the project and, most importantly, his dedication to his team.”
DeSalvio's replacement, Brian Gullbrands, most recently led all hotel and food and beverage operations at Encore.
