MANCHESTER, N.H (WBZ NewsRadio) — Polls have projected a win for Former President Donald Trump in New Hampshire, and once the voting polls close at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. across the state, the votes will be counted and an official winner will be determined.

WBZ’s Mike Macklin spoke to the Former President’s son, Eric Trump, who is looking forward to seeing a celebratory win for his father over the Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

“He should put it away tonight, he deserves it, and I think all the attention should be focused on the worst president this country has ever had which is Joe Biden. So, I think we end it tonight," said Eric Trump.

The younger Trump went on to say that Haley’s path to victory in Nevada and her home state of South Carolina also seems highly unlikely.

“She can’t win Nevada, because she’s not even registered [as a candidate] in the state, she’s not registered for the caucuses," said Eric Trump. "She’s [also] not going to win her home state of South Carolina, what’s her real path to victory?”

Trump also expressed his appreciation for the state of New Hampshire for the support they have provided towards his father’s campaign.

“The energy in this state is unbelievable, it really is. As someone who has spoke on the campaign for a long time and also as a proud son, my father is doing incredible and the momentum off of Iowa last week [was] wild. I think we come into New Hampshire in just great shape.”

Trump concluded by saying that if Haley is a true Republican, she should focus on unifying the party and getting Joe Biden out of the White House.
