Everett Police Use Front End Loader For Ice Bucket Challenge

EVERETT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Everett Police Chief Steve Mazzie used a front end loader to do an extreme Ice Bucket Challenge in a video posted to Twitter Tuesday morning.

"Found the biggest bucket I could to meet the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge," Chief Mazzie wrote in the post.

He challenged his son and friends, as well as Chiefs of Police in Chelsea, Malden, and Revere.

Pete Frates, the advocate whose Ice Bucket Challenge first went viral in 2014, died earlier this month.

The challenge has helped to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for ALS research.
