BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities are asking the public's help after a 50-year-old man was stabbed to death in Everett Tuesday night.
The stabbing happened around 9 p.m. on Bradford Terrace.
The victim, Michael Star, 54, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Middlesex District Attorney Marion Ryan released a sketch Wednesday of a man who may be connected to the crime.
It is the second stabbing on Bradford Terrace within ten days. While Ryan and authorities believe that these stabbings to be random they are urging the public "to use caution when traveling in the night time hours in the area between Ferry St and Cedar St.”
"It causes us to be concerned about that connection," Ryan said.
Karina lives just feet from where it happened on the mostly-residential street.
"My 12-year-old looked out the window, there's a little girl there, there's a little girl here," she said. "It's scary."
She said it's the second time in two weeks that someone has been stabbed on the street.
"It just seems like something is going on," she said. "I hope that they can find out who did it, why it's happening."
No arrests have been made in the case so far.
