BRIGHTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Prom is a staple event for high school students to celebrate their achievements.
Faculty at Kennedy Day School at Franciscan Children's Hospital found a way to unconventionally host a prom for their students.
On Friday morning, the dance was held outside where the students could do a special "prom walk."
Parents cheered for the students as they struck down the street.
Kennedy Day School is a special education school for children ages 3-22 with complex challenges; from healthcare needs to assistance needs.
The beautiful day brought lots of laughter, dance moves, and homemade corsages and boutonnieres.
