NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Bracken Hill Farm in Northborough is offering visitors an opportunity to have lunch with their alpacas.
The farm is known as a therapeutic space for visitors to come and interact with alpacas, pigs, goats, and other animals. Now, visitors have the opportunity to dine with one of the farm's most popular attractions: the alpacas.
Emily Brewster, director of the farm, said that visitors say they can't believe they are eating lunch with alpacas all around them.

Visitors are treated to a provided meal and then when they are almost finished eating, the alpacas join guests in the pen enclosure.
“And everybody gets food on the table and there’s some hay you can give them, and they just roam around each table on their own,” Brewster said.
She also said that alpacas are very easy to be around, especially when there is food involved. “People just enjoy feeding and interacting with them because they are such odd creatures," Brewster said.
The lunches have been happening monthly since March, and have sold out every month. There are three more lunches scheduled on July 14, Aug. 24, and Sept. 28.
