WALTHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 25-year-old man has died after he sustained serious injuries from a single car crash in Waltham early Sunday morning.
According to a statement from Waltham Police Chief Keith MacPherson, the driver was on River Street when he crashed near the Watertown line, badly damaging the vehicle.
First responders arrived shortly after 2:45 A.M. and treated the driver on scene for serious injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
The man's identity is not being released at this time. Waltham Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
