BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre has come out in support of quarterback Tom Brady after the most recent Patriots season ended in disappointment.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Favre said that Brady's game "is as good as it's ever been" and placed the blame for the Pats' down year on Tom's teammates.
"I saw a quarterback still able to do what he normally does, but the cast around him was not up to par," said Favre. "How many times did we see Tom frustrated this year because guys were not on the same page?"

The 2019 season was the first time the Patriots failed to make the playoffs since 2008. Brady also posted a near career-low QB rating of 88.0.
Favre though believes that Brady hasn't lost a step when it comes to the gridiron.
"I didn't see any decline in his arm strength," he noted.
