BILLERICA, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston branch of the FBI is telling drivers to expect traffic on the River Street bridge in Billerica on Monday as dive teams scour the Concord River for evidence.

The agency was quiet on what they were searching for. A release from the Bureau said the dive team, based out of New York, was not searching for human remains. The team, called USERT (Underwater Search Evidence Response Team) uses sonar equipment to find underwater evidence. The FBI also said there is no threat to the public.

The search is set to shut down one lane of the bridge beginning at 9:00 a.m., and the agency did not give out any estimated end time.
