BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — There’s good news for those looking to save some money this Thanksgiving.
A new report from the American Farm Bureau finds that the average price of a turkey dinner with all the fixings for 10 people will be $55 and some change, coming out to just over $5 per person.
While prices vary for locations, this drop marked the third year in a row of price declines for Thanksgiving dinners. This year, there is a 5% drop from last year’s price of $58.08, and almost $10 lower than the highest, which was $64 back in 2022.
The AFB said turkey costs have been the factor behind the price drops, with many grocery stores running Thanksgiving deals.
