BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — High school football is set to return to Fenway Park ahead of Thanksgiving. Eight schools will play their traditional Thanksgiving rivalry games on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
The baseball diamond has been transformed into a football field, with no mound and no bases.
"It looks like it's been a football field for a long time," Brett Miller of Fenway Sports Management said.

Miller said that the chance to play football at Fenway Park is exciting for the participating high schoolers. "The reactions you see on the players' faces are honestly why I do this job and what makes it so cool," Miller said.
Fenway has a long history of hosting football games, starting back in 1912, the same year that the baseball park opened its doors.
On Tuesday, East Boston will play South Boston at 5 p.m. North Andover and Andover will play at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Blackstone Valley Tech will play Nipmuc Regional at 4 p.m. Winchester will play Woburn at 6:30 p.m.
