The American Rescue Plan provides $130 billion to help K-12 schools reopen for in-person learning safely.

Joined by Christa McAuliffe's family at the school, Dr. Biden said this relief plan will also help families pay for childcare costs. She said it will give many families “half of what they have already paid in childcare.”
