BROCKTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are investigating after five men were shot outside a house party in Brockton late Saturday night.
First responders arrived at the crowded scene on Laureston Street at around 10:30 p.m., after receiving a gunfire alert from ShotSpotter, the city's electronic gunshot detection system, and calls from several people who heard shots fired.
Police said there were five victims between two shooting scenes; in front of 124 Laureston Street where the house party was being held, and at the intersection of Laureston Street and Nilsson Street.
Two of the victims made it to a local hospital by themselves, with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other three victims were transported to local hospitals, one with serious injuries.
One victim had reportedly been grazed in the head, and another man had a chest wound. Authorities said four of the victims are from Boston, and one is from Everett.
As of Sunday morning, no arrests had been made.
This is a developing story.
