BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — For the first time, a woman has been named to head the Boston office of the FBI.
FBI Director Christopher Wray named Jodi Cohen as the Special Agent In Charge of the bureau's Boston division.
Cohen most recently served as the Special Agent In Charge of the Louisville field office for the past two years and has worked in a number of positions across the FBI including investigating white-collar crime, and healthcare fraud.
She was part of the inspection division at the FBI's headquarters overseeing agent-involved shooting investigations and national program reviews.
Cohen is replacing Joseph Bonavolonta who announced he was stepping down in June.
