NASHUA, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The suspected gunman in Saturday's shooting at a country club in Nashua, N.H. appeared virtually in court on Monday.

Hunter Nadeau, 23, was charged with second-degree murder after allegedly opening fire at Sky Meadow Country Club. Authorities said 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare was shot and killed. Two others were also injured in the shooting. Officials say that so far, they believe that the attacks were random.

Nadeau's lawyers waived his arraignment on his behalf. He was ordered held pending a dangerousness hearing.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Peter Hinckley spoke after the hearing regarding the course of action going forward.

"After that probable cause hearing, the case is going to be adjourned to superior court and we'll have 90 days to present indictments against the defendant," he said.

The probable cause hearing was scheduled for Oct. 1 at 10:15 a.m.
