Four Chatham Restaurant Workers Test Positive For COVID-19

CHATHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Four employees of an iconic restaurant in Chatham have tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the establishment to undergo a deep cleaning.

The Chatham Squire on Main Street immediately closed its doors after learning of its first staff member to test positive over the weekend.

Restaurant management immediately contacted the Chatham health department and began a deep sanitization, and three more positive COVID-19 test results were confirmed among staff on Monday, according to Cape Cod Times.

The Squire's outdoor patio was open to customers on Monday, but as the Cape Cod Chronicle reports, owner Todd Hearle said no one at work had been in contact with anyone who had tested positive for the virus.
