FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A jeep smashed into the front window of a Stop & Shop in Framingham Monday morning, leaving the driver injured.
The crash happened around 10 a.m. at the Stop & Shop on Cochituate Road.
Framingham Fire told WBZ-TV the driver, a woman in her 50s, may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash. WBZ-TV reported she suffered only minor injuries, and that nobody else was hurt.
The store was still open after the crash, with customers able to use another entrance.
"Please be extra careful on the roads and parking lots today," Framingham Police wrote on their Facebook page in a post along with the above photo. "Slush, ice and light snow makes for slippery roads."
