Framingham Man Wants To Thank 1-800-GOT-JUNK Workers Who Saved Him

HOPKINTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Framingham man is recovering from a broken nose, facial cuts and bruises after his car fell on top of him while he was working on the exhaust.

The 27-year-old said it could have been a lot worse if five 1-800-GOT-JUNK workers in Hopkinton had not been in the right place at the right time on Sunday afternoon.

Precious Tahngi can't say enough about the five workers who lifted a car off of him after he became pinned underneath.

His tailpipe was giving him trouble, so he went under the car to fix it. The jack let go and the car landed on top of Tahngi.

He screamed for help and the workers came running over and rescued him. "Them being there is literally a life saver, I don't know what I would have done without them," said Tahngi.

He even called the five men heroes and angels. Tahngi said he wants to meet the men once he can drive again.

One of those workers, Marcos Santiago is now raising money to help Tahngi with a new car. The GoFundMe has already raised over $3,000 for Tahngi.
