Framingham Office Parties Busted Three Times In Three Weeks

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — We've heard reports of some teens still throwing parties during the pandemic, but in one local city, so are adults.

Framingham is considered a high-risk community for COVID-19. But that is't stopping one office building from partying like it's 2019.

They've been busted three times in three weeks for throwing loud parties with lots of drinking and not a lot of social distancing. Police say it resembles a nightclub; bouncers, DJ's, and upwards of 250 people in the basement.

That space is currently occupied by a small party supply rental service. The owner of the company told WBZ NewsRadio he wasn't aware of the gatherings until he saw a post about them online.

When asked how the partygoers might have accessed the room, he hung up the phone.
