BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The City Hall Plaza transformed into a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and sound for "Future Fest," an event featuring music, dance, and interactive light art, on Saturday Aug. 3.

This is part of Mayor Michelle Wu and the city’s effort to spotlight local artists and revitalize Downtown Boston, specifically the City Hall Plaza. There will be an array of diverse arts and cultural events every weekend, all season long.

“Our vision is for City Hall Plaza to be a bustling center for the arts,” said Mayor Wu in the press release. She added that hosting these events are a wonderful opportunity to see the plaza as what it was designed to be for the community.
