BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) —The Healey Administration announced that they will offering free parking at state parks across Massachusetts from Saturday through Monday in honor of Veterans Day.

The parking will be free for everyone, but there will be reserved spots specifically for veterans coming to the parks.

“The service and sacrifices of our veterans and service members inspires us all, and offering free parking is a small gesture to express our profound gratitude for their dedication to our country. We wish everyone a safe and happy Veterans Day!” said Executive Office of Veterans Services Secretary Jon Santiago.

This announcement was in line with the National Park Service's annual tradition of offering free admission to all on Veterans Day.

Following this trend, the Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo announced that they are offering free admission to veterans and their families on Monday.
