BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Central Perk Coffeehouse, the coffee shop based on the classic sitcom "Friends," opened its new Back Bay location Tuesday.

The café is filled with references to the popular show, including the orange couch that the main characters sat on and a large neon sign that reads "The One With..."

"I dragged my friend super early in the morning to come here with me," one woman told WBZ NewsRadio.

"I think it's a good way to bring the feeling of Central Perk into a more modern setting, but it has everything that I want," said another customer.

There is also merchandise and show-inspired food and drinks.

"We have the 'How You Doin'?,' which is our house roast, very popular this morning," said Central Perk General Manager Aaron Constable. "We will be featuring the 'Pivot' blend in the upcoming weeks and we also have 'We Were on a Coffee Break' dark roast."

The Newbury Street location is the first one to open in Boston.

The coffee shop is also paying tribute to "Friends" star Matthew Perry, who died on Oct. 28.
