FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you have a rough night out, the solution might be to head to another bar.
The DRIPBaR in Foxborough, Mass. provides vitamin infusions through IV bags. While customers relax in white leather chairs, a Registered Nurse or a Nurse Practitioner administers the IV.
Although the vitamin infusions cost $200, CEO Ben Crosbie believes they are more effective than orally administered vitamins.
“The vitamins go directly into the bloodstream, so they get absorbed right away,” said Crosbie. “It’s like a smoothie bar.”
DRIPBaR has a menu full of different options, each with a different combination of vitamins tailored to the customer's needs. The “Allstar” is designed for athletes, while the “Jetsetter” is designed for travelers.
Crosbie said they even have a vitamin infusion designed for when you are hungover.
“But if you’re still drunk don’t drive here,” said Crosbie. “Give us a call, we have mobile.”
The DRIPBaR has administered IV bags at the Xfinity Center to several artists, including 50 Cent, Sublime and Jason Aldean.
