Gillette Stadium Is Considering Drive-In Live Entertainment

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Kraft Group is proposing to hold concerts outside Gillette Stadium.

Foxborough Town Manager William Keegan said people will be able to hear concerts from their own cars.

"Live shows, for say 400 cars with four people per car, that would be allowed throughout the summer," Keegan said. "During the summer concert series, primarily on Fridays and Saturdays."

He said there will be possibly two shows a day, about an hour long, including live music and potentially live comedy.

The shows will be broadcasted on a low-band FM channel that can be picked up on car radios.

Cars would adhere to social distancing regulations, and audience members could get take-out food from Patriot Place restaurants.
